I took Brady to the neighbor's pool the last two days and he has ended up liking the pool as much as his daddy. The first night he kind of whined and cried a little, but he warmed up to the idea when he realized he could splash and play with the water jets. He was so mad and upset when we left he was yelling "wah wah wah" and pointing to the pool. Tonight we went over again and he went full blast into the pool. He was even so brave to start jumping off of the edge of the pool into my arms. I think that he enjoyed climbing out of the pool as much as he enjoyed jumping in. He would grab onto the edge and dig his feet into the side and try to throw a leg over, but not he was never able to make it on his own. I would have to help a little while he grunted, groaned and giggled. It was funny to see his little lat muscles as well. We started to work on his leg kicking for swimming. He would lean over and kick one leg out and have such a huge smile.
I met Ang at Dr. Shurmer's and the boys behaved very well. I had my computer so Ang brought Bob the Builder and they kinda watched it in the office. Jackson enjoyed watching it more than Brady. Brady wanted to steal Ang's pen that she was using to fill out her paper work. It is neat to see the boys interact with the Dr. They seem kinda leery of him because he is a Dr. but they like him because he always talks to them, asks for high fives, etc...
Jackson's boo-boo is better now. He did not have a band-aid today, which is a big step for him and his boo-boo. He went with Ang to run some errands while B and I went swimming. Jackson seems like he wants to go to the pool but he is still kinda hesitant. Right now he seems to like his pool more than anything else so taking him away from that pool is going to be hard. He did talk about going to Ketchup Park during dinner, but he said his poool would be ok as well. Last night after Ang put his P.J. pants on him, he looked at them and said that he wanted a new pair of pants! Ang asked why and he said because he did not look cute in them. How can we argue with that logic?
