The boys had a blast this morning. After we got home from Mimi and Poppa's last night, Jax threw up in his bed two times! He handled it like a champ and eventually fell asleep. Hopefully he will not get sick again tonight, because Ang and I have a date tomorrow night. We really are blessed to have such a giving family. The back of the van was almost completely full of toys from our Christmas parties coming home last night. I think that I may have had as much fun as the boys playing with the new toys and putting them together. Merry Christmas

Christmas Concert
As usual, we have been busy with everything that is going on. It is kinda scary to think that we are only going to get busier as the boys get older. Jax is still doing great at Preschool. I am not sure how much he likes his teachers but he really enjoys playing with the other kids and enjoying some of the activities. He has learned some funny words and games so far, hopefully no bad language with be learned. We thought that Brady said the “s” word a couple days ago, but it was a fluke because we have not heard it again (we hope that it was a fluke). Ang was gone today and it the boys were left at home to be boys. While I was cleaning up dinner the boys were wrestling and running around, I did a little bit of refereeing but not as much as Ang might. At one point, Jax told Brady “remember we only do this when mommy is gone” I about dropped the pan that I was washing I laughed so hard. Jax had a preschool concert last Friday and he did great jingling the bells for Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. As you can see in the video he did not do much signing and concentrated on playing the bells. While he was up on stage, Brady was having a huge fit because he wanted to be up there with him. Ang had him in the hallway trying to get him to settle down, but it was not too successful. It was late and he wanted to do something and did not want anyone or anything getting in his way. (I think that Jax is watching Brady have a fit at one point in the video)

Here is Jax making his daddy proud. I can't wait to see his face on Christmas when he sees that he gets his own drumset!

Too long

Sorry for the delay in posting (I am probably the only one to read this and it won’t be for a couple years). School has been keeping everyone busy. We had Parent teaching conferences for Jax in his first year of preschool, the teachers love him and raved how cute he is. He does need to work on his skipping and dribbling, but most of his other skills are up to par. It is sad that testing has crept into preschool and kindergarten. Jax is loving preschool and Sunday school. He was a little upset today in church but he decided to wake up at 5:45 this morning. He and B are napping right now; they have not been able to change their internal clock to go along with the time change.
Ang and I went to a banquet at church for people who serve at church on Friday night. It was nice to go out and have adult conversation while Grams and Gramps watched the boys. Both boys had a hard time when they left. Part of their sadness was due to Daisy leaving as well. Brady ran down stairs instead of getting me on Saturday so he could see Daisy instead. Daisy was so tired from being chased and played with.
Brady is talking so much now, he keeps on saying Me Me whenever we go anywhere in case we forget about him. I don’t think that we could forget him with him being so loud. The poor boy dropped some cans on his toes today and his big toe nail turned blue almost instantly. It had to hurt and he cried for a long time.
Jax has eaten ice cream two times this weekend without too many ill effects. He was getting backed up but he did not this weekend. The deal tonight was that they had to eat their corn or potatoes and then they could get their ice cream. Jax ate them but B was being stubborn and would not eat either. That made him very upset as well but he forgot about it until he smashed his toes.
It is nice to be finally winding down in my Masters classes. Only two more weeks for this semester then I am that much closer to being done in the summer. IT will be nice to have that done with and I can focus on being a teacher and dad/husband.
Hopefully I can start to post more once I settle down a little. Christmas is coming and I cannot wait to see the boys reaction when they wake up. Jax is getting a drum set and he is going to freak out when he sees it.

Trickster
I have noticed more and more the last couple of weeks that Jackson has been tricking Brady out of what Brady was doing. Brady will usually fall for it until he realizes after the fact that Jax has what he was playing with. Brady will scream bloody murder and Jax will start laughing.
They have been wrestling more and more, I find it very entertaining and I am glad that they learned by watching me wrestle matt. The moves that they come up with are great. Both boys like the head smach where they roll on top of each other trying to smash the others face and or head. Jax can still get the upper hand over Brady but they usually will giggle until one of them gets hurt. Knock on wood, nothing too serious has happened to them.
Jax loves going to school and to church. When we put him down for bed tonight, he got excited when Ang told him that he is going to school tomorrow. He has a friend named Brett at school now and was kinda upset that he was not at school on Friday. Mrs Morgan said that he kept on looking for Brettt at school.
I played the drums for the first time at Church this weekend. Jax and Ang watched me on Saturday night. I could kind of see Jax standing in the aisle clapping and dancing at points. Ang said that he climbed back onto his chair so he could drum. The lights were so bright on stage that I could get glimpses of him off and on. Saturday night service did not go very well but we were able to practice again on Sunday morning and get things straightened out. It felt amazing to be able to play with a band again and worship at the same time.
B has been talking about me cutting the grass as much as Jax does. I now get asked if I am going to cut the grass 20 times instead of 10. It is funny to hear B say grass. He is missing most of the g and r of grass but you can tell what he is saying.
Hopefully I can keep up with this blog more but most of my time on the computer is spent on MSU or Pennfield work.

Random update
Like any other family in the world, we have been non-stop busy. Ang is watching Harrison, Jax is starting preschool, and Brady gets made when you give him orange milk (I will explain later). My master classes and not having a textbook fills most of my waking hours when I am not with the boys. We have been trying to give mom a break when I get home so I will take the boys outside for a walk or to play some kick. Jax is getting pretty good at dribbling and kicking the soccer ball. Brady has been playing with the NFL size football, he tries to throw the ball on the roof or over one of the trees. Ocassionally B will hit himself in the head with the ball and laugh about it. We walked yesterady and stopped and played with Chelsea and all of her new and cool (to the boys) toys while mom got some groceries and started dinner. They loved the battery operated tractor and four wheeler, both boys tried them and had fun.
Last weekend, we went to Grandma Thel's 90th birthday party. The boys had a blast even though they went to bed late the night before. We went to the Pennfield football game where they danced with Gracie while the band played. The boys loved her and followed her all night long. When she left, Brady ran after her and tried to leave with her and John. I was able to wrestle (destroy) Matt on Saturday. It was as much fun as it use to be, and the boys found it amusing as well. Jax was asking mom what I was doing then he said I was being silly. Brady and Ike liked what they saw and started to wrestle each other. I have a feeling that is going to be happening for many years to come. Brady has been trying to wrestle Jax at home which mom is getting sick of seeing. B and Jax have both hit their heads on the ground from wrestling each other.
It was nice to see Aunt Jimmy, and Tracie at the party as well. Danny was there and it is funny to see him all grown up and he said the same thing about me. He told me it was funny to see me with kids.
We have Jackson's school drama figured out finally. Where he was supposed to be going, the school only had one boy to ten girls. If it was high school i would not mind having him go there, but that ratio would probably be good for his development at such a young age. He is going to the co-op in the afternoon. Next year when B turns three, he will be able to go to the same school as Jax which will help us out a lot.
No bites on the house yet. We need to keep in mind that there are hundreds of houses for sale that are similiar to ours. It is going to take some time.

Birthday Parties and School
Once again it has been too long since I have updated this… Hopefully I can remember everything that has been happening.
Brady’s birthday party worked out great, the boys behaved as well as expected. Jackson sure is a party boy, he had so much fun running around acting like a wild man. It reminds me of when I went to my cousin Tyler’s birthday party and how crazy that was. Brady got a lot of good gifts and he had some good cake. Ang made the cakes the night before when Jackson was sleeping and as soon as he woke up he was talking about the cakes and how bad he wanted to eat them until he went to bed. He even woke up on Sunday and was talking about the same thing.
Jackson is starting his first day of preschool tomorrow and I cannot believe that he is old enough to be going to school. I do not like that he is getting old so fast. It is amazing how fast life is going with him and the boys. Every time I turn around one of them is doing something that I think they are too young to be doing. Ang got his backpack ready tonight with extra clothes and his name on it. He still does not seem to like the idea of going. We have talked about going and how fun it is going to be but he still is not sure. Taking him to church and getting him comfortable there is going to help him a lot.
Ang has been watching Harrison this week. The boys all seem to love being with each other and playing/showing Harrison what he should be doing. Jax and B seem to take turns helping Ang. Brady was all smiles when he helped hold the bottle for Harrison today. It is amazing how happy and easy going Harrison seems to be.
B has been peeing on the potty already. He has been acting like he was peeing in the potty for a month or two. He was walking up to the toilet, sticking his belly out, and lifting up his shirt. He would them try to flush the toilet five time as well. He usually laughs when he pees and pees numerous times. He has gone pee on the floor numerous times, ANg once, and who knows what else.
When Sarah came in today to drop off Harrison she was talking quietly to Ang and I in the kitchen. Harrison was cooing a little and getting excited to see Ang when we heard something come from Jackson’s room. “ STOP WAKING ME UP!!!” All of us laughed very hard when we heard that, then a minute later he yelled “STOP TALKING SO LOUD!!” Once again we all lost it and off we went to school.
Another funny event happened yesterday, Jax and B have been obsessed with dinosaurs lately. We went to the library to get books about them; Jax was asking questions about them so we thought some books on them would do him some good. Well Jex yesterday was growling and we heard Brady giggling so we decided to investigate, that combination usually means that someone or something is about to get damaged or defaced. Jax was walking next to Brady while B was crawling on the ground. Jax was trying to pull off B’s head while grunting and giggling. Ang told him not to and asked why he was doing that and his reply was priceless, “Because that is what Croc’s do.” It was hard to argue with that kind of logic so we let them do it a little longer until it got old for them.
Once again, if I forgot anything please let me know and I will add to this or create a new post. Sorry if this is confusing, I wanted to get some things down before I forgot them and did not proof read this.

Did I forget anything if so please comment!!!
The family went to mimi and papas for four days last week (Sunday-Weds). I worked on putting in a patio in their backyard. The boys and mom went to visit Joyce and Dave on Monday they had a good visit while I was slaving away. Ang was able to help out Joyce and her arm while the boys ran around like mad men. Ang also went shopping on Tuesday and Wednesday for the boys and school stuff. She seemed to like shopping by herself and the boys had fun with mimi and papa. B and Jax were very good helpers for me, they would steal my tools and hit things that I did not want them to, or B would pick up bricks and throw them at me or right next to me. That was very helpful. Papa asked Jax to help him clean up some of the slag along the perimeter of the patio and Jax was very serious and did a good job for a couple of minutes, then he decided to do what he wanted a couple minutes later. We left and there was a ton of planes in the sky (usually we only see one or two) but Jax and B were both sleeping by the time we drove by the airport.
Ang and I went to, as Cade called him, Crazy Ronnie’s wedding. It was really hot but it was still a nice time. Jeff told me that one of the bridesmaid’s commented on Jeff’s nice calves. She then went onto ask him if he was a runner. I about wet myself when he told me that. He just looked at the girl and said have you looked at me?
We stopped at Cousin Ian’s birthday party on the way down, he was happy to see Ang and it was good to see them before they leave for Colorado. Poppi was there and he was happy to see us and the rest of his family.
Brady has had some bad boogers the last couple of days, I think that it is part allergies and part cold. He is doing a ton of blowing his nose when there is not a tissue close to him. He still gives a real dirty look when he does it and it makes me laugh every time. Sarah stopped by to drop off some diapers and formula for Ang’s first day of watching Harrison. Brady seemed to like them at first but I think that he is going to be jealous of the new baby. He kept on trying to sit on Ang’s lap while she was holding him and was throwing his blanket at him and Ang. Hopefully he will learn his new role and be content with the new baby in the house.
Jax has had a couple funny things the last couple of weeks. Today Ang asked him what glasses she should buy and he kept on saying that the weed-wacker likes this one or that one. I have finally had enough of his leaf blowing, weed-wacking, lawn mowing, edging, and car driving. He seems to get louder and louder by the day with it and it drives me nuts. It is not helping that B starts to do it when Jax does and tries to be louder than Jax. I think that they have a secret competition of who can be louder.
Last week Jax told me that he wanted to go to the “ I B D E” when I asked him what he wanted to do. Ang and I both started to laugh and Jax had a huge smile on his face. It is funny how he is learning and trying new things on a daily basis. He also told me last week that he does not like when I spell things out. He knows that I am talking about him and he does not like it. He told me to stop that and he does not like it. Ang and I both started to laugh at that one as well.
The last big thing is that we are going to try and sell our house. There are some really nice houses that need a little work here and there that are dirt cheap. If it is supposed to happen then God will make it happen and we will move elsewhere. God has always opened doors for us that has directed us to where we need to go. There is no reason that he wont do it this time.

"I'm very far away"

We have had quite a funny Friday. Jax and Brady have been plotting against us this afternoon. Hard to think that someone with a cute picture this like this could be a stinker.
While I was cooking pizza for their lunch B thought that it would be a good idea to take the humidifier that was in his room and dump it out on his floor. I looked in his room and I did not see wet carpet so I assumed that there was not much water in the humidifier, well I was wrong. After I picked up the humidifier, I followed B into the living room and he pointed out his socks to me and they were soaking wet. I rexamined the room and there is a huge wet spot by his gate.
Jackson went pee today and his shorts ended up IN the toilet. He never told us how it happened, but he said it was an accident. He was put in timeout because he was not listening and answering our questions. Brady was making faces at him most of the time he was on the couch, and he figured he should be in trouble too. I asked B to finish his lunch and he decided that this was a good time for him to get into trouble. He ran into the living room and threw his pizza onto the couch. He was walking toward the couch where Jax was but got really mad when I made him stand in the corner. He stood in the corner and frowned while he tried to cover his face with his hands. After his timeout was over he ran over to Jax and wanted to play with him and was mad that he couldn't.
After lunch, it was knap time. Both Jax and B tried to yell so they would not have to go, they even started to talk to and mimic each other through their walls. Brady ended up getting a bottle and that helped him to sleep, but Jax was more persistent. Jax was yelling so Ang went in his room to tell him to go to sleep. She walked in and he was not in his bed, she asked where he was and he said from underneath his bed "I am very far away." Ang got him out from under the bed and put him back in his bed. After B finally fell asleep Jax once again was asking for something in his room. Ang was going to yell at him to go to sleep, but he changed her mind. She opened the door and did not see him again. She was about to ask where he was, when he popped out from behind the door he said that he needed a tissue in a silly voice. After he blew his nose he finally went to sleep.
Jax has also learned a new phrase. Ang felt a little rough this morning and Jax asked her if she was frustrated? We both laughed and Ang said that she was not frustrated but that she did not feel well. Jax used this new phrase to try to stay awake as well, he said that he could not take a knap because he was frustrated.

Hayford Reunion and the Pelc's
This was a pretty uneventful week for us at the Diemer household. We painted the living room on Thursday night. We took the red out and painted it the same color as the ceiling, I think that it is called 'Sand.' It looks tan to me but I can not see color's very well.
We went to the Hayford family reunion yesterday and it took forever to get there. There is not a direct route to Adrian and there was construction that slowed us down as well. The turn out for the reunion gets smaller and smaller ever year. It was good to see Poppi and Ang's cousins. Baby Molly and Ian are cute and seemed to like the boys and watching them run around. We went and saw Joyce afterwards and she seemed to appreciate that. Ang did some cleaning while Dave and I played with the boys. The boys were able to help Grampy feed the dogs and the boys also went for a walk with Daisy.
Dave and Sarah Pelc came over on Friday and the boys had a blast. We got to eat dinner with them and have some adult conversation which was nice for a change. We went to the fountain after dinner and got some desert as well. The boys chose suckers over ice cream or fudge. Dave and Sarah seemed shocked at times watching the boys play and how active they were. They got to see a bath and the craziness that goes with that. This year Brady was glued to Sarah's hip like Jackson was last year. Jackson had fun with Sarah but he seemed more interested in being a boy with Dad and Dave. Jax warmed up to Dave pretty quick as soon as Dave got the balloons off the ceiling numerous times.
The boys have had the sniffles the last couple days and hopefully that will end soon. They took late naps so they stayed up later. I took advantage of the cooler weather and cut the grass. I had good helpers while they followed me most of the time. In the backyard they were playing kick with Ang while I was mowing. It makes the job a little less monotonous seeing them having fun.

Church and others
We made it church yesterday and it was refreshing to go. The boys had a pretty time in the different classrooms. Brady latched on to a guy worker while Jackson had fun dancing and playing basketball. THe church is alright in my book because they have a fantasy football league. After church the boys got pizza buffett for their good behavior. I of course ate way too much pizza which messed up my biggest loser competition for the week. Actually that meal and vacation did not do me much good. I still lost but not as much as I hoped.
After we came home and took naps, we walked to the fountain uptown. The boys had a blast playing around the fountain, but they liked their suckers better. Brady ended up getting the stick so wet that it broke off leaving only the sucker without a stick in his mouth. He told us about it and we threw it away for him. Jackson managed to eat the whole thing without making too much of a mess. He usually is a neat boy.
Jackson made his first potty accident at Borders today. He was playing with the Thomas trains and I noticed that he was tapping his foot in some water. It took me a second but I realized what he was doing. Ang ran and got his clothes changed while I stayed to flag a worker down to bring a mop. THe worker was nice and said that it happens all the time. I was holding B and he was not happy that he could not play with the trains. I dont blame him Thomas is awesome.
Tonight while Ang was cleaning out the van, Bradys managed to fall face first out of the van. He did not cry even while Ang was checking for blood or large bumps. About an hour later he was jumping onto his couch and nailed his head again on the foot rest for the chair in the living room. He moaned a little but did not cry. I think that he is going to have a lumpy head once he reaches adulthood.

Saugatuck Vacation
Day One
We got a late start today but we still made good time. We ended up getting here around 6 after stopping at BK for a bight to eat. The whole trip, Jackson asked how much longer till we get to the beach. Both boys were really excited in the car; we talked the whole ride about tractors, the beach, earth movers… We saw some construction on 94 at 131. I told Jackson that Bob the Builder was there because he has the DVD about road building, he grinned from ear to ear for a couple miles.
The camper is nice, we keep on telling Jackson that everything at the beach is smaller. The bathroom, the t.v. the kitchen, the microwave… We went to the beach right away. It is a nice little lake with a small beach area. It is about perfect size for the boys. No one was there so we got the whole thing to ourselves. They had to take a shower tonight and they did not like it much. It did not help that it was cold, I took a shower to and it was taking my breath away. We are going to meet Jen, Matt, and Isaac tomorrow at Oval Beach. I will let you tomorrow how it goes…
Day Two
After going to bed late and getting up at the usual 7:00ish time, I thought that we were going to be up the creek. The boys had their moments of tiredness, but they behaved great for the most part. We met Isaac, Uncle Matt, and Aunt Jenn at Oval Beach. We did not have cell phone service so it was hard to find them. Matt said that he ran by us at the beach and never saw us. We accidently left our van doors open and he thought it was a code for something. Ang spotted Matt running up the stairs so Brady and I went to meet him. They were glad to see us and we were glad to see them. We had a blast at the beach together. There was lots of castle building, cement making, and throwing in the air for all the boys involved. At different parts of the day we got to see Ike’s and Jackson’s peaches while they were playing in the water. Brady and Uncle Matt were able to bond some more at the beach. Matt was burying Brady’s feet in the sand and that was fun for half an hour for him.
By the time that we made it out of the parking lot of the beach and almost to the main street, Brady was out. He did not get a knap and was short some sleep from the night before. Jackson fell asleep in the car while I was getting groceries for dinner and a snack. They liked eating Taco’s for dinner. They seem to like the small quarters. Jackson slept with Ang at night and Brady slept with me on the floor in the living room. We broke them up because the night before they were trying to keep each other awake and then wake each other up if the other did fall asleep. They slept through a big storm that had the camper shaking. It was cute sleeping next to Brady and seeing him roll around, and groan while he slept.
Day Three
We started off the morning without water; a plumber was putting in a new water line to a camper a couple lots over. Once the water was turned back on we were able to get cleaned up and head to Holland for the day. Ang and I were both amazed at how nice Holland was and I was amazed at how many people had blond hair. Our digital camera broke the day before so we stopped at a couple stores to find a new one. We ended up getting a new Fuji camera from Circuit City and it works great. I asked the clerk for directions to Tunnel Beach and no one could tell me how to get there so they mapquested it for me. The beach turned out to be a blast.
While walking through the tunnel, Jackson kept on saying that Thomas was going to drive through the tunnel, he also said that the rest of the day as well. There was a high tide but the boys did not mind. I enjoyed being able to play in the high waves and the boys liked watching me. Brady went out a couple of times with me and had a great time. Jackson spent a lot of time building castles with cement and dumping sand on dad and mom. There was a family of five with two little boys and a tiny girl. That had some big shovels that Brady kept his eye on. He stood next to them for about 5 minutes and kept on pointing and saying please. He finally realized that he was not going to get them and gave up.
Day Four
Jackson had a belly ache all night and we almost went home because of it. I had called Mimi and told them to wait and see if we were going to stay or not, once he did his business he felt better. The boys went to the park in the campgrounds while mom got a shower and did some cleaning. After the park, we went for a drive so the boys would sleep while we waited for them. The camper was too small for the boys to be able to knap in so they would usually knap in the car on the way home from the beach.
Mimi and Papa came up and the boys were really, really excited. Once they got at the camp grounds we went to the little beach, as Jackson called it, and the boys had a blast. Brady was brave and would go in the deep water with me and practice swimming back to shore. As soon as he would hit the shore he would want to go right back out and swim back in.
We went out to dinner in downtown Saugatuck and walked around afterwards. Jackson got a sucker while the rest of us got ice cream. We expected Brady to eat his ice cream and be happy but he wanted a sucker like his big brother. It was not a big deal but the special Saugatuck writing on it made it cost five bucks! The boys licked the suckers for a couple minutes and Jackson dropped his. Luckily Papa went and rinsed it off for him. They did not even come close to finishing them and we saved them for the next day but we forgot to give them to the boys before we left the next day.
Day Five
Once we got the camper cleaned up and all of the adults cleaned up we headed out to Oval Beach for the last time. We stopped at a restaurant downtown and had lunch on the way to the beach. We all knew Brady was tired but lunch showed us how tired he was. He would not eat or sit still. I ended up walking around with him after I ate my salad. We looked at the boats and the wa wa. He liked that but would start crying every couple minutes. We went to the beach not knowing how he was going to act. He was fine for a little bit but he was just too tired. While Ang and I were in the water, we could see Brady having a fit because he was tired. He stomped around a little bit then fell face first into the sand. Luckily he fell into his hat so he only had a little bit of sand in his face. He fell asleep on the spot and slept for a good hour and a half. Papa moved him and woke him up a couple minutes into his knap; Papa ended up moving B onto a blanket and rubbed his back to get him back to sleep. I dug a little trench to keep the tide from getting him and it turned out to be a nice seat for me to sit in and watch the water. He woke up and was out of it but he was refreshed and ready to go. We stayed for a little bit longer and then it was time to go home.
Jackson had fun showering off his legs and head at the showers while Brady tried his best to like it because his brother did. We stripped the boys and put them into some nice clean clothes and headed home. We got to see a big John Deere Farm Tractor, many small tractors, and a huge lot of used heavy equipment machinery. Jackson talked about that for hours. Neither boy slept on the way home but both were happy to get bathes and go to sleep once we got home.
We look forward to doing it again next year!!!! Here is a link to some of our pictures on snapfish.

Back by popular demand
It has been quite the busy week with finishing school and life in general. To try and recap the highlights:
The boys painted outside with Ang one day this week. They loved it and they made a HUGE mess. Brady did not like when the paint was dripping down his arm. I came home to find paint on their picnic table, the concrete, and themselves. It gave me a good giggle.
Brady has been a dancing machine this week. We had music on while we were eating lunch today and he danced the whole time that he ate in his chair. He has figured out how to bob his head to the beat. Jackson still talks his way through the dances. He always will descibe what dance he is going to do, then do that dance for about 5 seconds then start all over with a new one.
Brady told Ang and I that he loved us as we walked out of his room for his knap. That is the heart melting times of being a parent... It is amazing how quick something like that can change around your day.
Jax and I went to the Lawnmower store today. He was very excited and touched everything in the store. He picked out his lawnmower and he picked out one for me, I really liked the one that he picked out. We had to go get a new spark plug and some oil for my mower. I learned my lesson this week about why it is important to mark your gas cans if it is oil mix.
Ang cut 95% of the yard this week and ran out of gas with a little bit left to do in the back. She was about to put the gas in and Jax asked her why are you using that gas mommy? She did not think much of it and started mowing again. When I came home I noticed that she cut the grass but I also noticed that the wrong gas can was out. After figuring out what I should do, we drained the mowers gas and oil. I have not put the new stuff in yet but I am sure that it will be fine. If not it is under warranty with Sears. Jax also showed her how to start the mower using the primer button. He sure knows his mowers.
Both boys were thrilled when we told them that we are going to grams and gramp then onto mimi and pappas for the weekend. Jax is looking forward to grampys lawnmower. Maybe this time he will ride it??/?

Brady is a monkey
I took Brady to the neighbor's pool the last two days and he has ended up liking the pool as much as his daddy. The first night he kind of whined and cried a little, but he warmed up to the idea when he realized he could splash and play with the water jets. He was so mad and upset when we left he was yelling "wah wah wah" and pointing to the pool. Tonight we went over again and he went full blast into the pool. He was even so brave to start jumping off of the edge of the pool into my arms. I think that he enjoyed climbing out of the pool as much as he enjoyed jumping in. He would grab onto the edge and dig his feet into the side and try to throw a leg over, but not he was never able to make it on his own. I would have to help a little while he grunted, groaned and giggled. It was funny to see his little lat muscles as well. We started to work on his leg kicking for swimming. He would lean over and kick one leg out and have such a huge smile.
I met Ang at Dr. Shurmer's and the boys behaved very well. I had my computer so Ang brought Bob the Builder and they kinda watched it in the office. Jackson enjoyed watching it more than Brady. Brady wanted to steal Ang's pen that she was using to fill out her paper work. It is neat to see the boys interact with the Dr. They seem kinda leery of him because he is a Dr. but they like him because he always talks to them, asks for high fives, etc...
Jackson's boo-boo is better now. He did not have a band-aid today, which is a big step for him and his boo-boo. He went with Ang to run some errands while B and I went swimming. Jackson seems like he wants to go to the pool but he is still kinda hesitant. Right now he seems to like his pool more than anything else so taking him away from that pool is going to be hard. He did talk about going to Ketchup Park during dinner, but he said his poool would be ok as well. Last night after Ang put his P.J. pants on him, he looked at them and said that he wanted a new pair of pants! Ang asked why and he said because he did not look cute in them. How can we argue with that logic?

Oh me oh my

Here are two pics of Brady, one from the spring of 2007 and one from this summer 08.
Today is the first day that Brady has gone to sleep without his paci. He cried for 20 mins then finally fell asleep. Tonight, Brady yelled for about 40 minutes but finally fell asleep. He was sitting in his chair yesterday watching Handy Manny and Ang and I laughed at how funny he looked still having that thing in his mouth. He looked so big with that tiny thing in his mouth. Ang said that strangers probably wonder why the twins are so different developmentally. One is talking and running around while another one is grunting with a paci, running around.
Jackson skinned his knee on Friday and has been quite the dramatic boy. He would not walk on Friday after he did it. He would whine and cry if we made him stand up or move. He had not pooped and I think that was also making things worse for him. Saturday evening he still had not pooped for a couple days and you could see how big his belly was getting. He tried to poop for 30 mins but nothing happened. He ended up getting some Baby Fleet which cleaned him out quickly. After seeing what was clogging him up, I could see why that was painful for him.
Back to his limp... It was funny and frustrating at the same time to see how he thought he needed to walk with his knee. At times he would be hunched over walking slowly as he would say then three seconds later he would run around a little then go back to his old man walk. It is safe to say that I know what he will look like walking around when his is an old man. As long as his knee was covered up he would be ok but if he say his knee he would be hurting all over again.
Today, Jackson finally decided that he could walk without a limp from his knee injury so we went to 'Kethcup Park' and Lowes for some sand for his sandbox. J and B both loved climbing up and down the lawn mowers and pushing the cart. Brady only hit himself a couple times after we made him leave the tractors.

What to write....

Today was another day at school for dad and a day with the boys for ang. Jackson and Brady both ate watermelon after dinner tonight. Jackson turned his piece into a melon ship and Brady ate most of a big chunk of it. Jackson also ate half of a turkey burger. Both boys were very interested in the terminex guy spraying for ants. Jackson kept on talking about the guy was going to get the ground moles.
Yesterday we took the boys to the water walk in Marshall and they loved it. They got to run around to the different platforms and talk about the fish. Jackson kept on asking about crocodiles and if they were in the water but was relieved when I told him there were not any. At one point he decided to giggle while he tried to run away from me. Lucky I am so fast and I was able to catch him, he had a great belly laugh while he was running.
Brady's temper seems to be getting better and better, hopefully I don't end up jinxing myself saying that. His Noni and Grammy came up and Brady loved Noni so much. He sat in daddy's chair and talked to her at first but warmed up quickly. She was able to give him a bottle.

The First One
Here is the start of our adventure in online blogging. I/We hope to update the blog a couple times a week. Please leave comments if you please...
The boys tried to help Daisy go potty in the backyard this morning. They had a blast chasing her around without their shoes on. Ang said they seemed to really get a kick out of not wearing shoes in the backyard, they were really breaking the rules. Daisy would not do her duities so they took her for a walk around the block. The walk worked for Daisy and of course Brady fell numerous times. With feet and a head that big it must be hard to keep his balance... His knees can tell you about his balance issues. J and B seem to really like having Daisy around again, we have not minded much either. J and B have been tiring her out so she has not been acting to crazy. This DOES NOT mean that we are getting a dog or want one!!!!!!
Jackson has been speaking Spanish because of his Handy Manny t.v. show. It is cute to hear him do it, I told him that Uncle Matt can speak Spanish and he laughed and said that was silly (I agree). Brady is still chompin on his fingers, I am surprised that he is able to do it with all of those teeth. He has been squinting and smiling lately, he either needs glasses or that is his happy face. His slapping and head banging has been better as well. His improvement in behavior has to relate to his better language skills.
